What is Cedarsimc and how does it work?
Cedarsimc is a social rewards platform where you earn coins by completing tasks like following, liking, sharing, commenting, watching, subscribing, or reposting on social media platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook). Each task has a coin value. Once you've earned enough coins, you can redeem them for airtime, data bundles, or cash to your Nigerian bank account.
How do I sign up and get started?
Click 'Get started' on the homepage or the Sign up button. Enter your email, create a password (min 8 characters), and pick a display name. After signing up, browse available tasks in the Earn section, complete the social media action, submit evidence (URL or screenshot), and earn coins upon approval. You can start immediately — no wait time.
What platforms and actions are supported?
Currently supported platforms: X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Available actions include: Follow, Like, Share, Comment, Watch, Subscribe, and Repost. Each task will specify which platform and action is required, along with the coin reward.
How do I submit evidence for a task?
After completing the social media action, copy the post/ profile URL and paste it as evidence in the submission form. You can also include additional text if needed (max 2000 characters). Make sure the URL is public and matches the platform specified in the task. Our system automatically verifies the domain matches the expected platform.
How long does task verification take?
Most submissions are reviewed within minutes. Our auto-approval system can automatically approve submissions from users with a proven track record. If flagged for manual review, an admin will verify your submission. You'll receive a notification once your submission is approved or rejected.
What happens if my submission is rejected?
If your submission is rejected, you'll see the reason provided by the reviewer. You can dispute a rejection if you believe it was incorrect by clicking the dispute button on the submission in your activity feed and providing an explanation. An admin will review your dispute and can overturn the decision.
How are coins valued and what can I redeem?
Coins are valued at approximately 1 coin = NGN 1. You can redeem your coins for: Airtime (NGN 200 to NGN 5,000 on MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile), Data bundles (from 1GB to 10GB), and Cash to your Nigerian bank account (GTBank, Access, Opay, Kuda, Moniepoint, PalmPay, and more). New redemption options are added regularly.
How do I redeem my coins?
Go to the Redeem section in your dashboard. Choose a reward type: Airtime, Data, or Cash. For airtime/data, enter your Nigerian phone number. For cash, make sure you've added your bank details in your Profile first. Click confirm and your reward will be processed — airtime/data are usually delivered within minutes, cash payouts are processed within 24 hours.
How do I add my bank details for cash redemption?
Go to your Profile page, scroll to 'Bank Account' section. Enter your account name, select your bank from the dropdown, and enter your 10-digit account number. Save your changes. Your bank info is securely stored and used only when you request a cash payout.
What is the referral program and how does it work?
You can invite friends using your unique referral code found in your Profile page. When someone signs up using your referral code and completes their first task, you'll earn a bonus. Referral bonuses are automatically credited to your coin balance. There's no limit to how many people you can refer.
What are tiers, streaks, and achievements?
Your tier (Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum) reflects your activity level. Higher tiers may unlock better rewards and priority support. Your streak tracks consecutive days you've completed at least one task. Achievements are special milestones you can earn for reaching specific goals — check your Profile to see available achievements and your progress.
How does the dispute process work?
If your task submission is rejected and you believe it was a mistake, go to your recent activity on the Dashboard, find the rejected submission, and click the dispute button. Write a brief explanation. An admin will review your dispute and can reverse the decision. You'll be notified of the outcome.
How do I link my social media accounts?
Go to your Profile page and find the Social Accounts section. You can link your X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook accounts. Linking accounts helps us verify your identity and makes task submission faster. Your social accounts are private and only used for engagement verification.
Is this available outside Nigeria?
Currently, Cedarsimc operates in Nigeria. Redemption options (airtime, data, cash) are designed for Nigerian carriers and banks. Task opportunities are available to users who can engage with Nigerian brand content on social media. International expansion is on the roadmap.
How do I contact support?
If you're logged in, you can submit a support ticket below and our team will get back to you. Your tickets are tracked so you can follow up on responses. For urgent issues, please use the 'urgent' priority option and expect a response within a few hours.
Why can't I submit a task proof?
You need to add at least 2 social handles and link at least 1 social account (Google, X, etc.) in your Profile before taking on tasks. Go to Profile > Social Accounts to set them up.
What is the minimum payout?
The minimum payout is set by the platform. Reward items below this threshold are hidden from the redeem page. If you don't see certain reward options, they may be below the current minimum.
